WHO I AM

This is my mother’s memory the day I was born.
I chose to start my journey when the sun was in Aries, the “horned head,” synonymous with human potential capable of being translated into reality. I have been lucky enough to have many experiences, to have many solitary journeys, especially abroad, and I have let myself try different jobs with excellent results, thanks to my spontaneity and my way of life.
I had a beautiful family, a special life partner, an enviable job, in short, a satisfying life by the standards we get used to from the moment we are born… but I kept a hidden question inside of me, which resurfaced more and more often. Still, I had no answer:
What is my purpose?
MY ENCOUNTER WITH MACRAMÉ GAVE AN ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION IMMEDIATELY, ON THE SPOT, WITHOUT ANY RESISTANCE OR REFLECTION.
My enthusiasm was born suddenly and with uncontrolled strength when I started to form the first knots. At once, it was clear in my heart that finally the train of my life was heading towards the right track, towards the journey and my destined destination.
In the following months that enthusiasm not only increased, but became contagious, projecting itself around me and fortifying a powerful and indissoluble connection with “something” that I had never experienced before, something divine that belongs to everybody.
Never before did I feel the strength and energy to study, to understand, to experiment, to enter deeply into the meaning of things.
Driven by a strong will, I began to study shapes and colors and how they resonate within each of us. I became passionate about the various types of materials, especially the recycled ones, turning my interest to natural fabrics, of animal and vegetable origin, which respect the environment. I have deepened the Macramé technique of the loom and my hands have intertwined thousands and thousands of threads.
