“The One And The Two” Tapestry

In Celtic symbology, the One is represented by both with the snake’s egg, the symbol of wisdom and the eternal flow of time, and with the head, which symbolizes the creative thought and the idea. The two is the crescent moon, which, disguised in the form of horns, adorns the female divinities and represents fecundation. Here the horned head, formed by one and two, is the emblem of potentiality of creative thought that pours into reality and becomes concrete.
The simple and clean lines of this original macramé tapestry made entirely by hand soften the shape full of archaic connections, but the use of several layers of yarn give the appropriate thickness to the piece. It fits the environments where inspiration is sought for something new such as an intuition, a new love, an original project or a particular journey.
The macramé piece is entirely hand-woven in Italy with ecological cotton yarn; the support is made of wood and its dimensions are L 23,6” x H 45” (L 60 cm x H 115 cm). The colors and size can be changed to meet your specific needs.
